Lumen Ventures is pleased to announce the successful first closing of Lumen II, a new venture capital fund dedicated to early-stage investments in insurtech, fintech, digital health and cybersecurity.
The fund is managed by Ulixes Sgr in partnership with Lumen Ventures and will continue fundraising toward a target hard cap of €100 million.
The first closing has attracted a strong group of institutional investors including CDP Venture Capital SGR, Fondazione ENPAM, and Banca Popolare di Fondi, alongside a pool of regional banking institutions.
Lumen II aims to back exceptional founders at the seed stage, supporting the next generation of innovative companies transforming financial services, insurance and healthcare through technology. The fund will primarily invest in Italy while also supporting internationally-based companies with a strong strategic connection to the Italian market.
The fund’s Key Managers are Davide Fioranelli, Luca Adinolfi, and Daniele Vadori.
